How to become an affiliate

Affiliating to Patchway Community Association will mean that you can attend meetings and contribute your ideas on how to improve our centre, to discuss finance and fundraising and have the opportunity to vote on decisions involving the centre. By affiliating you will be providing your support to the centre which will help us when we are applying for grants but will in turn help you as a group if you wanted to apply for funding.

Our meetings are normally held on an evening, last approximately two hours and we hold a minimum of four meetings per year. One of the main issues at the centre at present is the badly damaged roof. At our meetings we discuss how we are going to raise funds to consider which are available. We would encourage people to affiliate this coming year as your support is very much needed. If we are unable to raise the funds for the roof we may be in danger of the building closing down in the future.

Affiliation fees are 10.00 per year for your group and you can send two representatives to any of the Members meetings. Individual affiliations are 5.00 per year and you can attend members meetings.

Please contact Louisa either in the office or on 07789172351 to arrange payment of affiliation. You will be provided with a receipt and will from April 2010 be advised 21 days before each meeting of the time, date and the agenda for that meeting.
